Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Industrials, Investment and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP declined 0.43%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Promigas (CN:PMG), which rose 3.53% or 240.0 points to trade at 7040.0 at the close. Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) added 1.41% or 30.0 points to end at 2160.0 and Pfgrupoarg (CN:ARG_p) was up 0.80% or 140.0 points to 17700.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Etb (CN:ETB), which lost 4.76% or 17.0 points to trade at 340.0 in late trade. Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) declined 4.12% or 400.0 points to end at 9300.0 and Grupo Aval Acciones y Valores SA Pref (CN:GAA_p) shed 2.08% or 25.0 points to 1175.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 16 to 5 and 3 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was down 1.27% or 1.31 to $101.47 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December rose 2.23% or 51.00 to hit $2333.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.22% or 2.60 to trade at $1207.00 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.80% to 3046.20, while BRL/COP fell 3.08% to 733.90.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.02% at 95.07.
