Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Investment, Financials and Industrials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP lost 0.32%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Etb (CN:ETB), which rose 0.80% or 2.0 points to trade at 253.0 at the close. Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) added 0.39% or 40.0 points to end at 10260.0 and Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) was up 0.35% or 15.0 points to 4300.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Conconcret (CN:CIC), which lost 2.70% or 10.0 points to trade at 360.0 in late trade. Grupoaval (CN:GAA) declined 1.83% or 20.0 points to end at 1075.0 and Grupo Aval Acciones y Valores SA Pref (CN:GAA_p) shed 1.39% or 15.0 points to 1065.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 15 to 9 and 6 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for March delivery was down 1.65% or 1.70 to $101.05 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in March fell 3.10% or 72.50 to hit $2268.50 , while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.07% or 0.95 to trade at $1290.35 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.12% to 3141.28, while BRL/COP fell 0.47% to 845.28.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.41% at 95.593.
