Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Financials, Investment and Public Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 0.13% to hit a new 1-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Etb (BVC:ETB), which rose 5.56% or 5.00 points to trade at 95.00 at the close. Canacol Energy Ltd (BVC:CNE) added 4.01% or 540.00 points to end at 14,000.00 and Cementos Argos Pf (BVC:CCB_p) was up 2.22% or 160.00 points to 7,370.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Cementos Argos SA (BVC:CCB), which lost 2.26% or 190.00 points to trade at 8,200.00 in late trade. Celsia SA (BVC:CEL) declined 2.24% or 95.00 points to end at 4,140.00 and Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA (BVC:SIS) shed 2.24% or 740.00 points to 32,260.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 0 to 0 on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for September delivery was down 1.06% or 2.57 to $240.58 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in September rose 4.21% or 326.50 to hit $8,089.50 , while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.49% or 12.00 to trade at $2,447.90 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.03% to 4,023.16, while BRL/COP fell 0.50% to 725.77.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.46% at 103.92.
