Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Financials, Investment and Public Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP lost 0.09%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Etb (BVC:ETB), which rose 5.56% or 5.00 points to trade at 95.00 at the close. Grupo Nutresa SA (BVC:NCH) added 2.90% or 1,500.00 points to end at 53,280.00 and Organizacion Terpel SA (BVC:TPL) was up 2.00% or 180.00 points to 9,190.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Cementos Argos Pf (BVC:CCB_p), which lost 2.56% or 200.00 points to trade at 7,600.00 in late trade. Grupo Bolivar SA (BVC:SCA) declined 2.44% or 1,500.00 points to end at 60,000.00 and Banco De Bogota SA (BVC:BBO) shed 1.13% or 300.00 points to 26,300.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 0 to 0 on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for September delivery was up 2.83% or 6.35 to $230.55 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in September rose 1.75% or 134.50 to hit $7,840.50 , while the August Gold Futures contract rose 1.29% or 30.45 to trade at $2,399.85 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.19% to 4,085.00, while BRL/COP rose 0.27% to 748.18.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.51% at 104.54.
