Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Financials, Industrials and Services sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP gained 1.38%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Interconnection Electric SA ESP (CN:ISA), which rose 3.54% or 460.0 points to trade at 13460.0 at the close. Conconcret (CN:CIC) added 2.94% or 8.0 points to end at 280.0 and Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI) was up 2.80% or 400.0 points to 14680.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Etb (CN:ETB), which lost 2.53% or 7.0 points to trade at 270.0 in late trade. Grupo Aval Acciones y Valores SA Pref (CN:GAA_p) declined 0.85% or 10.0 points to end at 1165.0 and Cementos Argos Pf (CN:CCB_p) shed 0.83% or 50.0 points to 5950.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 21 to 6 and 1 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was up 2.12% or 2.40 to $115.65 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December rose 0.21% or 5.00 to hit $2384.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.38% or 4.60 to trade at $1228.40 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.23% to 3140.75, while BRL/COP rose 0.38% to 841.60.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.29% at 95.84.
