Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Industrials, Services and Agriculture sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP rose 1.21%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Grupo Energia Bogota SA ESP (BVC:GEB), which rose 0.20% or 5.00 points to trade at 2,535.00 at the close. Promigas (BVC:PMG) unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 points to end at 7,700.00 and Etb (BVC:ETB) was unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 points to 80.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Grupo Argos SA Pref (BVC:ARG_p), which lost 4.44% or 560.00 points to trade at 12,040.00 in late trade. Bancolombia Pf (BVC:BIC_p1) declined 3.23% or 1,120.00 points to end at 33,600.00 and Canacol Energy Ltd (BVC:CNE) shed 3.05% or 310.00 points to 9,850.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 0 to 0 on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was down 3.05% or 7.70 to $244.65 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 3.84% or 269.00 to hit $6,732.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.71% or 19.40 to trade at $2,748.80 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.01% to 4,295.25, while BRL/COP rose 0.04% to 758.17.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.38% at 103.88.
