Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Services, Investment and Public Services sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP rose 1.08% to hit a new 1-month high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Celsia SA (CN:CEL), which rose 3.07% or 150.0 points to trade at 5040.0 at the close. Grupo Nutresa SA (CN:NCH) added 2.60% or 640.0 points to end at 25280.0 and Cementos Argos Pf (CN:CCB_p) was up 2.13% or 190.0 points to 9100.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO), which lost 1.20% or 25.0 points to trade at 2050.0 in late trade. Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp (CN:PRU) declined 0.55% or 40.0 points to end at 7170.0 and Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) gained 0.44% or 60.0 points to 13600.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 28 to 4 and 1 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for July delivery was up 0.35% or 0.47 to $137.70 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in July fell 0.82% or 24.00 to hit $2911.50 , while the June Gold contract rose 0.70% or 8.40 to trade at $1211.60 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.23% to 2408.50, while BRL/COP fell 0.95% to 819.44.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.70% at 96.21.
