Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Industrials, Services and Agriculture sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP rose 1.02%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Cementos Argos SA (BVC:CCB), which rose 4.96% or 400.00 points to trade at 8,460.00 at the close. Bancolombia Pf (BVC:BIC_p1) added 4.23% or 1,360.00 points to end at 33,480.00 and Interconnection Electric SA ESP (BVC:ISA) was up 2.55% or 420.00 points to 16,860.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Cementos Argos Pf (BVC:CCB_p), which lost 6.09% or 450.00 points to trade at 6,940.00 in late trade. Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA (BVC:SIS) declined 2.67% or 840.00 points to end at 30,600.00 and Grupo Energia Bogota SA ESP (BVC:GEB) shed 1.84% or 45.00 points to 2,400.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 0 to 0 on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for September delivery was down 3.48% or 8.37 to $232.48 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December rose 2.66% or 185.00 to hit $7,137.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.03% or 0.80 to trade at $2,504.80 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.04% to 4,036.97, while BRL/COP rose 0.25% to 739.74.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.52% at 102.43.
