Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Industrials, Services and Agriculture sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP gained 0.97%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Cementos Argos Pf (BVC:CCB_p), which rose 4.61% or 350.00 points to trade at 7,950.00 at the close. Mineros SA (BVC:MAS) added 3.98% or 130.00 points to end at 3,400.00 and Etb (BVC:ETB) was up 1.88% or 1.50 points to 81.50 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA (BVC:SIS), which lost 6.74% or 2,400.00 points to trade at 33,200.00 in late trade. Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (BVC:BVC) declined 4.47% or 500.00 points to end at 10,680.00 and Promigas (BVC:PMG) shed 4.00% or 300.00 points to 7,200.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 0 to 0 on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was up 2.79% or 6.78 to $249.68 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December rose 2.93% or 229.00 to hit $8,040.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.29% or 7.30 to trade at $2,553.60 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.10% to 4,029.75, while BRL/COP fell 0.33% to 733.04.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.16% at 100.76.
