Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Industrials, Services and Agriculture sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP gained 0.78%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Cementos Argos Pf (BVC:CCB_p), which rose 3.66% or 270.00 points to trade at 7,650.00 at the close. Etb (BVC:ETB) added 1.88% or 1.50 points to end at 81.50 and Bancolombia Pf (BVC:BIC_p1) was up 0.73% or 240.00 points to 33,240.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Promigas (BVC:PMG), which lost 4.00% or 300.00 points to trade at 7,200.00 in late trade. Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA (BVC:SIS) declined 2.81% or 900.00 points to end at 31,100.00 and Corporacion Financiera Colombiana SA (BVC:CFV) shed 2.53% or 340.00 points to 13,100.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 0 to 0 on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for September delivery was down 0.94% or 2.17 to $228.63 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in September fell 0.57% or 46.00 to hit $8,090.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.69% or 41.40 to trade at $2,493.30 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.01% to 4,053.50, while BRL/COP fell 1.56% to 716.42.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.47% at 103.82.
