Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Industrials, Services and Agriculture sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP rose 0.57%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Etb (BVC:ETB), which rose 5.56% or 5.00 points to trade at 95.00 at the close. Corporacion Financiera Colombiana SA (BVC:CFV) added 1.86% or 260.00 points to end at 14,260.00 and Banco Davivienda Pf (BVC:DVI_p) was up 1.11% or 220.00 points to 20,020.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Celsia SA (BVC:CEL), which lost 2.05% or 85.00 points to trade at 4,060.00 in late trade. Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA Preferred (BVC:SIS_p) declined 1.83% or 460.00 points to end at 24,640.00 and Organizacion Terpel SA (BVC:TPL) shed 0.89% or 80.00 points to 8,960.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 0 to 0 on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for September delivery was up 1.06% or 2.38 to $226.73 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in September fell 7.24% or 564.00 to hit $7,226.00 , while the August Gold Futures contract rose 1.10% or 25.50 to trade at $2,338.70 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.05% to 4,175.63, while BRL/COP rose 1.02% to 759.01.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.11% at 105.60.
