Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Industrials, Services and Agriculture sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP rose 0.41%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Grupo Argos SA (BVC:ARG), which rose 4.00% or 680.00 points to trade at 17,680.00 at the close. Grupo Argos SA Pref (BVC:ARG_p) added 3.51% or 420.00 points to end at 12,380.00 and Etb (BVC:ETB) was up 1.88% or 1.50 points to 81.50 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (BVC:BVC), which lost 4.47% or 500.00 points to trade at 10,680.00 in late trade. Ecopetrol SA (BVC:ECO) declined 3.76% or 75.00 points to end at 1,920.00 and Interconnection Electric SA ESP (BVC:ISA) shed 3.22% or 580.00 points to 17,420.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 0 to 0 on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was down 0.11% or 0.27 to $243.43 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December rose 2.96% or 204.00 to hit $7,086.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.84% or 21.20 to trade at $2,547.20 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.01% to 4,167.23, while BRL/COP rose 1.00% to 748.37.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.27% at 101.03.
