Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Financials, Industrials and Public Services sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP rose 0.37%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Bcolombia (CN:BIC), which rose 1.76% or 580.0 points to trade at 33580.0 at the close. Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1) added 1.21% or 400.0 points to end at 33420.0 and Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO) was up 0.92% or 30.0 points to 3300.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Conconcret (CN:CIC), which lost 24.00% or 120.0 points to trade at 380.0 in late trade. Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) declined 7.06% or 450.0 points to end at 5920.0 and Etb (CN:ETB) shed 1.99% or 7.0 points to 345.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 18 to 10 and 4 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was up 0.71% or 0.74 to $105.62 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 0.64% or 15.00 to hit $2347.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.29% or 3.50 to trade at $1216.80 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 1.44% to 2932.90, while BRL/COP fell 0.78% to 719.32.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.45% at 94.65.
