Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Industrials, Financials and Public Services sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP rose 0.26% to hit a new 1-month high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Conconcret (CN:CIC), which rose 4.74% or 18.0 points to trade at 398.0 at the close. Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) added 3.28% or 65.0 points to end at 2045.0 and Banco Davivienda Pf (CN:DVI_p) was up 1.67% or 580.0 points to 35300.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Etb (CN:ETB), which lost 3.48% or 12.0 points to trade at 333.0 in late trade. Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) declined 2.62% or 250.0 points to end at 9300.0 and Grupo Aval Acciones y Valores SA Pref (CN:GAA_p) shed 0.84% or 10.0 points to 1185.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 16 to 11 and 3 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was down 2.32% or 2.45 to $103.17 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 1.17% or 27.50 to hit $2319.50 , while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.72% or 8.80 to trade at $1207.20 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 1.22% to 2968.70, while BRL/COP fell 0.13% to 717.67.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.04% at 94.63.
