Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Industrials, Services and Agriculture sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP gained 0.19%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Grupo Nutresa SA (BVC:NCH), which rose 6.98% or 3,700.00 points to trade at 56,700.00 at the close. Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA Preferred (BVC:SIS_p) added 3.15% or 660.00 points to end at 21,640.00 and Interconnection Electric SA ESP (BVC:ISA) was up 2.07% or 340.00 points to 16,740.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Cementos Argos Pf (BVC:CCB_p), which lost 2.64% or 200.00 points to trade at 7,390.00 in late trade. Grupo Argos SA Pref (BVC:ARG_p) declined 2.44% or 280.00 points to end at 11,200.00 and Banco Davivienda Pf (BVC:DVI_p) shed 2.09% or 380.00 points to 17,800.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 0 to 0 on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for September delivery was down 0.29% or 0.72 to $245.58 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in September fell 1.42% or 122.00 to hit $8,464.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.43% or 34.90 to trade at $2,467.30 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.02% to 4,081.50, while BRL/COP rose 0.19% to 735.73.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.01% at 103.01.
