Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Industrials, Investment and Agriculture sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP rose 0.15%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Celsia SA (CN:CEL), which rose 5.60% or 235.0 points to trade at 4430.0 at the close. Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) added 3.84% or 190.0 points to end at 5140.0 and Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO) was up 1.90% or 65.0 points to 3490.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC), which lost 1.52% or 200.0 points to trade at 13000.0 in late trade. Cementos Argos Pf (CN:CCB_p) declined 1.33% or 80.0 points to end at 5940.0 and Etb (CN:ETB) shed 1.09% or 3.0 points to 273.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 15 to 6 and 3 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was down 2.23% or 2.60 to $114.05 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 0.97% or 22.00 to hit $2243.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract fell 1.33% or 16.30 to trade at $1209.90 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.85% to 3177.60, while BRL/COP rose 1.55% to 851.45.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.22% at 96.76.
