Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Industrials, Financials and Agriculture sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP rose 0.09% to hit a new 1-month high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE), which rose 5.88% or 380.0 points to trade at 6840.0 at the close. Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp (CN:PRU) added 4.26% or 230.0 points to end at 5630.0 and Cementos Argos Pf (CN:CCB_p) was up 0.93% or 80.0 points to 8640.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Celsia SA (CN:CEL), which lost 2.49% or 120.0 points to trade at 4700.0 in late trade. Empresa De Energia De Bogota (CN:EEB) declined 1.51% or 25.0 points to end at 1630.0 and Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) shed 0.99% or 140.0 points to 14060.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 17 to 9 and 1 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for May delivery was down 0.04% or 0.05 to $134.15 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in July rose 1.54% or 43.00 to hit $2843.00 , while the June Gold contract fell 0.58% or 6.90 to trade at $1192.40 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.29% to 2551.50, while BRL/COP rose 2.33% to 833.55.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.72% at 99.03.
