Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Industrials, Investment and Services sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP gained 0.02%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp (CN:PRU), which rose 5.91% or 440.0 points to trade at 7890.0 at the close. Cementos Argos Pf (CN:CCB_p) added 1.89% or 170.0 points to end at 9170.0 and Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) was up 1.32% or 100.0 points to 7680.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH), which lost 1.63% or 220.0 points to trade at 13300.0 in late trade. Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1) declined 1.53% or 420.0 points to end at 27040.0 and Banco De Bogota SA (CN:BBO) shed 1.10% or 700.0 points to 62900.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 16 to 15 on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for July delivery was down 1.35% or 1.88 to $137.28 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in July rose 0.24% or 7.00 to hit $2947.50 , while the June Gold contract fell 2.24% or 27.10 to trade at $1182.90 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.08% to 2394.50, while BRL/COP fell 1.71% to 794.54.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.43% at 94.90.
