Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Industrials, Services and Agriculture sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP added 0.02%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Canacol Energy Ltd (BVC:CNE), which rose 4.08% or 420.00 points to trade at 10,720.00 at the close. Grupo Argos SA (BVC:ARG) added 3.16% or 560.00 points to end at 18,260.00 and Interconnection Electric SA ESP (BVC:ISA) was up 3.10% or 520.00 points to 17,300.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA (BVC:SIS), which lost 5.19% or 1,400.00 points to trade at 25,600.00 in late trade. Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA Preferred (BVC:SIS_p) declined 1.78% or 360.00 points to end at 19,840.00 and Grupo Bolivar SA (BVC:SCA) shed 1.51% or 1,000.00 points to 65,160.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 0 to 0 on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was down 3.56% or 9.32 to $252.33 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 0.72% or 56.00 to hit $7,694.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.25% or 32.60 to trade at $2,647.20 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.23% to 4,155.00, while BRL/COP fell 1.81% to 754.02.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.13% at 100.45.
