Biden-Trump debate to be the biggest shock for markets in June: Investment manager

According to Navellier & Associates, the biggest shock in June could be the first Presidential Debate on CNN on June 27th.

It was revealed last week that President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump both accepted an invitation from CNN to debate in an early showdown that will likely set the tone for the final months of the 2024 campaign.

Navellier & Associates believes that in the event Biden "has a senior moment and stumbles during this debate, the calls from within the Democratic Party to replace Joe Biden with Gavin Newson will likely get louder."

"Looking forward, the international chaos may escalate in June, which in turn, will embarrass Joe Biden and possibly trigger a domestic political crisis," adds the firm. "The Presidential debate on June 27th with Donald Trump should prove once and for all if Joe Biden still has his 'mojo' or if he should step aside for Gavin Newson."

In the meantime, analysts at Navellier & Associates note that during June there will be a lot of central bank news, the annual Russell realignment, and quarter-end window dressing.
