Proactive Investors - Artemis Resources Ltd (ASX:ARV, AIM:ARV, OTCQB:ARTTF) is trading higher after fielding exceedingly strong gold results from rock chip samples gathered at the Titan prospect of the Karratha Gold Project in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.
The samples were taken from an area of abundant visible gold at surface, with three rock chips registering grades high enough to exceed the limits of testing equipment, registering in excess of 10,000 g/t gold.
Another sample graded 6,520 g/t gold, with a third less impressive but still high-grade result notching 10.2 g/t gold.
Copper assays of the Titan area were also highly encouraging, grading up to 23.8% and 14.55%.
These results have been welcomed by investors with shares as much as 44.44% higher in ASX trading this morning to A$0.013.
Potential for large-scale deposits
“We remain excited by the gold prospectivity that our tenements continue to deliver,” Artemis executive director George Ventouras said.
“The re-focus of exploration efforts and strategy on a tenement-wide scale is continuing to deliver evidence of multiple new zones for gold mineralisation, which we believe could contain the potential for large scale deposits.
“The next steps will allow us to refine these zones, delineate bonafide prospects and work towards more targeted exploration efforts.”
The company gathered enough gold from rock chips at Titan to produce a 10.4-ounce bar of gold.

Apart from its efforts at Karratha, Artemis also conducted a review of the Carlow Project, successfully mapping new gold veins at the 374,000-ounce-resource project.
Overall, ARV has discovered several new gold mineralisation targets across its tenements, opening a pathway to a potential regional discovery of large scale.
In other news, the company has completed heritage and ethnographic surveys over the Lulu Creek gold and Mt Marie lithium prospects, clearing the path to drilling once a written report is in hand.
“As always, we thank the Ngarluma Corporation for their ongoing support and cooperation,” Artemis stated.
