Investing.com – Morocco equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Transport, Distributors and Software & Computer Services sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares gained 0.03%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Ib Maroc.Com (CS:IBMC), which rose 6.00% or 5.70 points to trade at 100.70 at the close. S2M (CS:S2M) added 6.00% or 10.50 points to end at 185.50 and Label Vie (CS:LBV) was up 4.16% or 50 points to 1250 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Sonasid (CS:SOND), which lost 5.86% or 47 points to trade at 753 in late trade. Med Paper (CS:PAP) declined 4.34% or 0.70 points to end at 15.41 and Jet Contractors (CS:JET) shed 3.81% or 7.75 points to 195.25.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 20 to 14 and 8 ended unchanged on the Casablanca Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.19% or 0.11 to $57.89 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.30% or 0.18 to hit $61.84 a barrel, while the August Gold contract fell 0.60% or 7.00 to trade at $1168.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was down 0.12% to 10.8690, while USD/MAD rose 0.70% to 9.7484.
The US Dollar Index was up 1.00% at 96.45.
