Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Industrials, Financials and Investment sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP lost 1.40%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp (CN:PRU), which rose 1.76% or 60.0 points to trade at 3460.0 at the close. Isagen SA (CN:ISG) added 0.57% or 20.0 points to end at 3500.0 and Interconexion Electrica SA (CN:ISA) was up 0.28% or 20.0 points to 7100.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Cemargos (CN:CCB), which lost 4.54% or 440.0 points to trade at 9260.0 in late trade. Grupo Argos SA (CN:ARG) declined 3.46% or 560.0 points to end at 15640.0 and Corp Financiera Colombiana SA (CN:CFV) shed 3.39% or 1300.0 points to 37100.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 24 to 4 on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for March delivery was down 1.21% or 1.45 to $118.17 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in March rose 0.19% or 5.50 to hit $2976.00 , while the February Gold contract rose 1.56% or 17.00 to trade at $1108.90 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 1.00% to 3287.50, while BRL/COP rose 0.50% to 812.79.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.99% at 98.29.
