Investing.com – Sweden equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Financials and Consumer Goods sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 added 0.18%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Atlas Copco AB ser. B (ST:ATCOb), which rose 2.49% or 6.9 points to trade at 284.2 at the close. Sandvik AB (ST:SAND) added 1.84% or 2.40 points to end at 132.80 and Atlas Copco AB ser. A (ST:ATCOa) was up 1.74% or 5.3 points to 310.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb), which lost 2.59% or 0.94 points to trade at 35.40 in late trade. Svenska Cellulosa SCA AB B (ST:SCAb) declined 1.75% or 1.2 points to end at 67.3 and Volvo, AB ser. B (ST:VOLVb) shed 1.11% or 1.54 points to 136.66.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 397 to 326 and 76 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.40% or 0.19 to $47.62 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 0.23% or 0.12 to hit $52.16 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.35% or 4.50 to trade at $1296.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.28% to 9.4931, while USD/SEK fell 0.91% to 7.9933.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.58% at 92.69.
