Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Public Services, Investment and Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP declined 0.36%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Cemargos (CN:CCB), which rose 1.66% or 150.0 points to trade at 9160.0 at the close. Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) added 1.61% or 25.0 points to end at 1575.0 and Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) was up 1.58% or 160.0 points to 10260.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Isagen SA (CN:ISG), which lost 2.86% or 100.0 points to trade at 3400.0 in late trade. Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp (CN:PRU) declined 2.58% or 90.0 points to end at 3400.0 and Pfgrupsura (CN:SIS_p) shed 2.23% or 740.0 points to 32440.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 14 to 11 and 1 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for March delivery was up 0.61% or 0.72 to $118.90 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in March rose 0.76% or 22.50 to hit $2998.50 , while the February Gold contract fell 0.49% or 5.40 to trade at $1102.40 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.47% to 3271.90, while BRL/COP rose 0.03% to 813.00.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.26% at 98.55.
