Investing.com - Crude oil futures were higher during the Asian session on Tuesday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for April delivery traded at USD50.30 a barrel at time of writing rising 0.61%.
Earlier, it traded at a session high USD50.35 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD48.88 and resistance at USD52.40.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.44% to trade at USD98.06.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for April delivery rose 0.37% to trade at USD58.69 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD8.39 a barrel.
