Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Financials, Industrials and Investment sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 0.20%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Interconnection Electric SA ESP (CN:ISA), which rose 0.88% or 120.0 points to trade at 13700.0 at the close. Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) added 0.67% or 20.0 points to end at 3000.0 and Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) was up 0.52% or 60.0 points to 11700.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE), which lost 2.60% or 260.0 points to trade at 9740.0 in late trade. Conconcret (CN:CIC) declined 0.97% or 10.0 points to end at 1020.0 and Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1) shed 0.96% or 340.0 points to 34980.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 12 to 10 and 8 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was up 0.82% or 1.05 to $129.22 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 0.83% or 16.00 to hit $1901.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.10% or 14.75 to trade at $1353.75 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.18% to 2908.25, while BRL/COP fell 0.22% to 937.71.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.76% at 91.51.
