Investing.com – Indonesia equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Basic Industry, Agriculture and Mining sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite rose 0.35%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Lotte Chemical Titan Tbk (JK:FPNI), which rose 22.67% or 17 points to trade at 92 at the close. Akasha Wira International Tbk (JK:ADES) added 17.35% or 170 points to end at 1150 and Tempo Inti Media Tbk (JK:TMPO) was up 16.92% or 11 points to 76 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Bukaka Teknik Utama Tbk Pt (JK:BUKK), which lost 10.00% or 80 points to trade at 720 in late trade. Tanah Laut Tbk (JK:INDX) declined 9.90% or 20 points to end at 182 and Duta Anggada Realty Tbk (JK:DART) shed 9.82% or 55 points to 505.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 187 to 130 and 41 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.00% or 0.01 to $42.56 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.27% or 0.13 to hit $47.43 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.34% or 3.80 to trade at $1126.40 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.20% to 14022.5, while AUD/IDR fell 0.40% to 10023.05.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.18% at 95.57.
