On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Natural gas futures for May delivery traded at USD4.356 per million British thermal units at time of writing rising 1.88%.
Earlier, it traded at a session high USD4.367 per million British thermal units. Natural gas was likely to find support at USD4.222 and resistance at USD4.567.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.18% to trade at USD80.38.
Elsewhere on the Nymex, Crude oil for May delivery fell 0.36% to trade at USD99.38 a barrel while Heating oil for May delivery fell 0.99% to trade at USD2.8592 per gallon.
