On the Comex division of the New York Mercantile Exchange, Gold futures for April delivery traded at USD1321.80 a troy ounce at time of writing falling 1.45%.
Earlier, it traded at a session low USD1321.10 a troy ounce. Gold was likely to find support at USD1321.10 and resistance at USD1392.50.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.32% to trade at USD80.39.
Elsewhere on the Comex, Silver for May delivery fell 2.99% to trade at USD20.203 a troy ounce while Copper for May delivery fell 2.25% to trade at USD2.920 a pound.
