Investing.com - Gold futures were lower during the European session on Thursday.
On the Comex division of the New York Mercantile Exchange, Gold futures for June delivery traded at USD1283.50 a troy ounce at time of writing falling 0.57%.
Earlier, it traded at a session low USD1282.50 a troy ounce. Gold was likely to find support at USD1278.10 and resistance at USD1299.10.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, fell 0.03% to trade at USD80.36.
Elsewhere on the Comex, Silver for May delivery fell 1.15% to trade at USD19.820 a troy ounce while Copper for May delivery fell 0.98% to trade at USD3.016 a pound.
