Investing.com - Gold futures were lower during the European session on Thursday.
On the Comex division of the New York Mercantile Exchange, Gold futures for June delivery traded at USD1299.40 a troy ounce at time of writing falling 0.31%.
Earlier, it traded at a session low USD1298.80 a troy ounce. Gold was likely to find support at USD1298.80 and resistance at USD1335.60.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.11% to trade at USD80.26.
Elsewhere on the Comex, Silver for May delivery fell 0.62% to trade at USD19.658 a troy ounce while Copper for May delivery rose 0.16% to trade at USD2.970 a pound.
