On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for May delivery traded at USD100.31 a barrel at time of writing falling 0.02%.
Earlier, it traded at a session low USD100.30 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD98.87 and resistance at USD101.96.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.04% to trade at USD80.65.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for May delivery fell 0.09% to trade at USD106.16 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD5.85 a barrel.
