Investing.com - Crude oil futures were lower in Asian trading hours on Friday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for May delivery traded at USD98.50 a barrel at time of writing falling 0.41%.
Earlier, it traded at a session low USD98.42 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD97.00 and resistance at USD99.45.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, fell 0.05% to trade at USD80.31.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for May delivery rose 0.01% to trade at USD106.17 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD7.67 a barrel.
