On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for May delivery traded at USD101.33 a barrel at time of writing falling 0.25%.
Earlier, it traded at a session low USD101.29 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD100.03 and resistance at USD102.23.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.02% to trade at USD80.27.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for May delivery fell 0.07% to trade at USD107.64 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD6.31 a barrel.
