On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for May delivery traded at USD99.29 a barrel at time of writing rising 0.39%.
Earlier, it traded at a session high USD99.44 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD97.00 and resistance at USD99.45.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, fell 0.08% to trade at USD80.28.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for May delivery rose 0.48% to trade at USD106.97 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD7.68 a barrel.
