On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for May delivery traded at USD99.94 a barrel at time of writing rising 0.34%.
Earlier, it traded at a session high USD100.00 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD98.10 and resistance at USD100.29.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.12% to trade at USD80.16.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for May delivery rose 0.28% to trade at USD107.11 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD7.17 a barrel.
