Investing.com - Crude oil futures were higher during the Asian session on Thursday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for May delivery traded at USD99.38 a barrel at time of writing rising 0.21%.
Earlier, it traded at a session high USD99.39 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD97.00 and resistance at USD99.39.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, fell 0.02% to trade at USD80.11.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for May delivery rose 0.18% to trade at USD106.13 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD6.75 a barrel.
