Investing.com - Crude oil futures were higher during the Asian session on Thursday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for May delivery traded at USD99.41 a barrel at time of writing rising 0.22%.
Earlier, it traded at a session high USD99.45 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD98.87 and resistance at USD101.96.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.01% to trade at USD80.39.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for May delivery rose 0.21% to trade at USD104.92 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD5.51 a barrel.
