Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Technology and Industrials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 declined 0.36%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Nokia Oyj (ST:NOKIA), which rose 2.23% or 1.40 points to trade at 64.25 at the close. Skanska AB ser. B (ST:SKAb) added 1.15% or 2.00 points to end at 175.60 and Svenska Cellulosa AB SCA ser. B (ST:SCAb) was up 0.95% or 2.4 points to 254.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Sandvik AB (ST:SAND), which lost 3.38% or 3.05 points to trade at 87.30 in late trade. Lundin Petroleum AB (ST:LUPE) declined 2.58% or 3.60 points to end at 135.90 and Telefonaktiebolaget L M Ericsson B (ST:ERICb) shed 2.35% or 2.00 points to 82.95.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 293 to 282 and 4 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for January delivery was down 0.36% or 0.15 to $41.50 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.50% or 0.23 to hit $44.38 a barrel, while the February Gold contract fell 0.02% or 0.20 to trade at $1065.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.17% to 9.2361, while USD/SEK fell 0.31% to 8.7005.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.30% at 99.96.
