TCGI Price Commentary

Possibly a good time to buy, thoughts anyone?
Good time for a buy thoughts ?
There have been a lot of excuses by management over the years such as heatwave in Europe, Brexit etc. But the fact is that the company did not see the necessary move from high street to an OTA model, and didn't react to automating processes fast enough. The predicament that TCG finds themselves in is caused by reliance on debt and not through prudent management.
I read that even if the airline businesses are sold to two different parties, and Fosun successfully acquires TCG, there will still need to be a restructuring of debt as the net proceeds will be insufficient to cover the debt. So although the risk reward is tempting, I feel there is more downside and risk, and there are other opportunities that are more worthwhile
any opinions on this stock currently?
id stay away from it if i was you mate i can potentially seeing it go up if a takeover happens but with the current situation i would expect it to go no higher that 18p but would be unlikely to stay there for long potential to make some money in the volatility if you want my advice buy at around 12p sell at 16p
just thumbs, BUY (thumb up) SELL (Thumb down)
It all depends on the weather...bad weather is the only hope to get people booking for holidays aboard it's that simple
Not the kind of thing you want to put your faith in. Business model needs to stregnthen.
Business model is already in place the hot weather does help...it's like trying to sell ice cream in winter your definitely not going to sell much are you
definetly sell
Peter fenny - you predicted right, brexit is negatively impacting business, although brexiteers would have you believe it is just scare stories.
buy or sell?
Just wanted to post and say i told you so to the person who thumbs downed my comment i was genuinely trying to warn you to get out while it was up i can see this dropping to about 18p by beginning of april hopefully anyone still in gets out before that all the best
Id sell before brexit if anyone has a large amount in thomas cook 3rd profit warning will happen most likely get out while it on the up
news now saying that airlines who dont have a majority EU ownership will not be able to fly into europe airspace as preferrence for EU flights from EU companys will be more important after brexit dont say i didnt warn people this goes for all airlines not just thomas cook all the best hope everyone gets out while there up.
STILL waiting for the price to break out of the triangle pattern!!!
Now is the time to buy. The share has been beaten with a stick. The sell off is a massive overreaction. Would understand if they had issued 3 profit warnings. Of course it could touch 20p with Brexit so close, but the upside is huge. I'm in with two feet.
should I buy some now Dan
Dan knows nothing... Look at last week alone. Not yet mate... But soon
I’ve come in on them twice now. 10% up first time around and then 46% up last time around. Got them exactly on the 20p bounce.
