Reliance Insurance Limited engages in the non-life insurance business in Bangladesh. The company offers property insurance products, including fire, property damage all risks, and industrial all risks insurance products; and marine insurance products, such as marine cargo and marine hull. It also provides engineering insurance products comprising machinery breakdown, deterioration of stocks, boiler and pressure vessels, electronic equipment, erection all risks, hotel owners all risks, work plant, oil and gas well drilling equipment package, and contractors plan and machinery insurance products; and motor insurance products for commercial and private use insurance products. In addition, the company offers miscellaneous insurance products, such as burglary, cash in safe, cash in transit, cash on the counter, cash in premises, fidelity guarantee, product liability, public liability, workmen’s compensation, marine terminal operators liability, clinical trail, employers liability, hole in one insurance/event cover, commercial general liability, bankers blanket bond, and personal accident insurance products. Further, it provides overseas mediclaim and health insurance products. The company serves national and multinational conglomerates. The company was incorporated in 1988 and is headquartered in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
