According to NASDAQ.COM, ESV was one of the most active after hours stocks. It is interesting that there were large trades at 16:05 and 16:31 in both ESV and ATW. In both cases the prices were higher for those trades. The value of the trades for ATW was $7,382,860 and for ESV $7,419,985. The quantities were approximately the 1.6 merger factor. The timing was within seconds for the two largest transactions. At the end of after hours trading, the differential price between ESV and ATW had moved from 1.527 to 1.544.. This could have been an arbitrage play and implies the merger is still on or at least a $7M player is confident, because the ratios moved closer to the merger value of 1.6.
