CalAmp Corp. is a connected intelligence company. The Company operates through two segments: Software & Subscription Services and Telematics Products. Its Software & Subscription Services segment offers cloud-based application enablement and telematics service platforms that facilitate integration of its own applications, as well as those of third parties, through open applications programming interfaces (APIs) to deliver full-featured mobile Internet of things (IoT) solutions to a range of customers and markets. Its Telematics Products segment offers a series of advanced telematics products for the connected vehicle and emerging industrial IoT marketplace, which include asset tracking units, mobile telematics devices, fixed and mobile wireless gateways, and routers. The Company partners with transportation and logistics, commercial and government fleets, industrial equipment, and consumer vehicles industries by providing solutions that track, monitor, and recover their vital assets.
