Investing.com – Indonesia equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Mining, Property and Infrastructure sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite rose 0.66%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Bank Rakyat Indonesia Agroniaga (JK:AGRO), which rose 24.53% or 78 points to trade at 396 at the close. Multistrada Arah Sarana Tbk (JK:MASA) added 24.46% or 68 points to end at 346 and Golden Eagle Energy Tbk (JK:SMMT) was up 20.00% or 35 points to 210 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Cakra Mineral Tbk (JK:CKRA), which lost 10.00% or 7 points to trade at 63 in late trade. Intikeramik Alamasri Industri (JK:IKAI) declined 9.89% or 9 points to end at 82 and Eratex Djaja Tbk (JK:ERTX) shed 9.80% or 20 points to 184.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 230 to 92 and 88 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.53% or 0.24 to $45.03 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.11% or 0.05 to hit $46.41 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.70% or 8.95 to trade at $1282.45 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.16% to 13174.0, while AUD/IDR rose 2.31% to 10276.50.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.18% at 98.84.
