Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Telecoms, Consumer Services and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 fell 2.25% to hit a new 52-week low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb), which rose 2.49% or 0.27 points to trade at 11.29 at the close. ASSA ABLOY AB ser. B (ST:ASSAb) added 2.39% or 4.1 points to end at 175.4 and Skanska AB ser. B (ST:SKAb) was down 0.66% or 1.05 points to 158.60 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken AB A (ST:SEBa), which lost 3.91% or 3.80 points to trade at 93.48 in late trade. Electrolux, AB ser. B (ST:ELUXb) declined 3.77% or 10.3 points to end at 262.8 and Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb) shed 3.58% or 3.8 points to 102.2.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 548 to 96 and 28 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for March delivery was down 0.48% or 0.31 to $63.84 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 0.75% or 0.51 to hit $67.11 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.40% or 5.30 to trade at $1331.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.24% to 9.8440, while USD/SEK fell 0.35% to 7.9531.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.07% at 89.51.
