Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Industrials, Basic Materials and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 fell 1.27%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were AstraZeneca PLC (ST:AZN), which rose 0.84% or 14.00 points to trade at 1,676.00 at the close. Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb) added 0.14% or 0.30 points to end at 180.60 and Evolution Gaming Group AB (ST:EVOG) was up 0.14% or 1.50 points to 1,107.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:SBBb), which lost 7.98% or 0.49 points to trade at 5.61 in late trade. Electrolux AB Class B (ST:ELUXb) declined 5.94% or 5.50 points to end at 87.50 and Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVb) shed 4.80% or 4.50 points to 88.40.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 477 to 278 and 86 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.53% or 0.43 to $81.20 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.60% or 0.51 to hit $84.64 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.35% or 8.30 to trade at $2,336.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.12% to 11.25, while USD/SEK rose 0.37% to 10.51.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.21% at 105.35.
