Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Industrials and Basic Materials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 declined 1.13%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:SBBb), which rose 1.73% or 0.11 points to trade at 6.46 at the close. Essity AB B (ST:ESSITYb) added 0.44% or 1.40 points to end at 319.80 and AstraZeneca PLC (ST:AZN) was up 0.38% or 6.50 points to 1,706.50 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Nordea Bank Abp (ST:NDASE), which lost 2.22% or 2.70 points to trade at 118.90 in late trade. NIBE Industrier AB ser. B (ST:NIBEb) declined 2.17% or 1.00 points to end at 46.50 and Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVb) shed 2.11% or 1.60 points to 74.30.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 484 to 273 and 86 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was down 2.18% or 1.51 to $67.64 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 2.16% or 1.57 to hit $71.12 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.52% or 13.10 to trade at $2,530.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.23% to 11.41, while USD/SEK rose 0.50% to 10.29.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.13% at 101.20.
