Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Telecoms, Financials and Industrials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 declined 0.87%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:SBBb), which rose 1.16% or 0.07 points to trade at 5.76 at the close. AB SKF B (ST:SKFb) added 0.18% or 0.40 points to end at 226.00 and Boliden AB (ST:BOL) was up 0.14% or 0.50 points to 352.50 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVb), which lost 3.62% or 3.80 points to trade at 102.20 in late trade. Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb) declined 2.89% or 5.50 points to end at 183.30 and Swedbank AB ser A (ST:SWEDa) shed 2.09% or 4.60 points to 215.60.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 455 to 323 and 68 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was up 2.42% or 1.83 to $77.36 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 2.15% or 1.71 to hit $81.33 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.03% or 0.70 to trade at $2,325.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.65% to 11.29, while USD/SEK fell 0.44% to 10.49.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.06% at 104.79.
