Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Healthcare, Industrials and Telecoms sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 0.85% to hit a new 1-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Svenska Cellulosa SCA AB B (ST:SCAb), which rose 1.26% or 1.80 points to trade at 140.50 at the close. Evolution AB (ST:EVOG) added 1.18% or 11.80 points to end at 1,009.00 and Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVb) was up 1.07% or 0.80 points to 77.20 in late trade.
Biggest losers included NIBE Industrier AB ser. B (ST:NIBEb), which lost 4.60% or 2.40 points to trade at 50.10 in late trade. Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:SBBb) declined 3.65% or 0.15 points to end at 4.08 and Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb) shed 3.45% or 6.50 points to 180.50.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 473 to 284 and 90 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was down 1.72% or 1.18 to $67.52 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 1.49% or 1.08 to hit $71.48 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.23% or 6.00 to trade at $2,566.90 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.08% to 11.58, while USD/SEK fell 0.13% to 10.97.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.07% at 106.52.
